New member from North Carolina

<p>Hi folks. My name is Mj Carbo, I'm recently retired, have always loved photography, and am looking forward to increasing my knowledge and expertise. Living in eastern North Carolina, my subjects naturally gravitate to the water, the plants, the birds and other wildlife. I also find myself becoming oddly obsessed with clouds. I've already posted a few pictures on my photo.net page. I look forward to learning from all of you. Thanx!<br>

<p>Welcome, Mj! I, too, am getting excited about photography a bit later in life. There were three great resources I found that helped me on this site:<br>

2) The SEARCH window (look up any questions you have as they have most likely been discussed before)<br>

3) The words, critiques and wisdom of the other, more experienced, photographers on this site<br>
