gyuri
I need some scanned images, what were made with Fuji GSW or GW 690III, because I want to purchuase one of them. I need mainly the wide open landscape pictures. It could be color or B&W I want to see the vignetting. Please send me them to my mail address rather than to the mailing list. I hope, that I will find somebody, who has got it.Best for all reader, George

ellis_vener_photography
I owned a GSW690, there was no vignetting unless you are stacking filters on the GSW. (The only reason i no longer own the camera is that an assistant dropped it and broke it beyond repair. The Fuji is a great camera.
john_macpherson
Hegedus - if someone told you there is "vignetting" are you sure it is in the lens? I have used both GW and GSW without problems. BUT there is vignetting in the VIEWFINDER on the GSW. This could be the problem you describe, but is one which does NOT affect the lens (as the camera is a rangefinder). Buy with confidence and enjoy a huge sharp contrasty and colourful advantage! Best wishes JOHN
jack_chase
I own a GW690III as well as a Hasselblad system. I use the GW extensively for personal work. The lens is incredibly sharp and well-corrected. Good price, fine camera, easy to use. Go for it!
john_macpherson
Hegedus - I neglected to say that the "vignetting" in the viewfinder is caused by the intrusion (visibility) of the lens barrel in the lower coner of the rangefinder-viewfinder. It DOES NOT appear on film! JOHN
gyuri
Dear all,I finally purchased the GW690III model. The last two years, I made my own 6x9 camera, where I use large format lenses. I have tried out on my 3 week long trip at the Arctic circle on the last year. It works fine, but too slow to operate (as it is a view camera actually), so I decided to buy my dream Fuji ;-) I am happy now...Thanks for the answers all of You! Gyuri P.S:You can check some pictures of my self made 6x9 camera here: MY CAMERAand here is my last trip album about Scandinavia:SCANDINAVIA TRIP
