Interesting. but ZINK?

Zink
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Zink can refer to:

Another name for the cornett or cornetto, a Renaissance wind instrument
A misspelling of Zinc, a metallic chemical element
Zink magazine
ZINK, an inkless printing technology used in instant photo printers
A word in the Dagaare language meaning "quiet determined one"
Charlie Zink, an American baseball player
Nicolaus Zink (1812–1887), the founder of Sisterdale, Texas
Zink, an album by the Dutch musician Bloem de Ligny
Zink (Faroese band), a former faroese punk band.

On the same general level of interest, you might want to know that Studebaker produced a car called the "Dictator" from 1927-1937. link

$5/shot seems like a high hurdle.

Maybe instead it should be combined with a social networking theme where the pictures are automatically uploaded to a server that you maintain online and select the people the pictures go to and be able to select it on the fly in the camera too?

I guess I'm glad to see it though -- I guess that is the traditionalist in me. Might be useful for pros taking pictures in places like Africa so that they can give a picture to a subject.

It wasn't that I didn't get the name, it's on the list from Wicki. It's that the name was chosen.

I suppose Dink (digital ink) was already taken.
