<p>Robin, I love your waterfall shot. What was the exposure time on it? I know that Velvia can be very tricky with exposures longer than 4 seconds. </p>

<p>Robin, I was a whitewater kayaker for 16 years so there's no getting around it for me-- I am drawn to falls and rapids. I've taken an embarassing number of photos of waterfalls, of course nothing as fine as what you have shared here. :-) </p>

<p>How does one choose between two halves of a couple? This chap, Kuriakose Mamkoottam, and I became M.A. class-mates 42 years ago. He retired as a dean from one university and promptly got a contract job, also as dean of a faculty, with another. </p><div></div>

<p>And this is Kuria's wife Valsala, whom I first met in 1978 some months before their wedding. Their daughter was born the next year and now lives in Washington, DC, where she runs around buying film for me.</p>

<p>Both pictures were taken with a 90mm Elmarit on an M6 at 1/15 sec. I couldn't have managed them without the Staticfix that Robert Hooper sent me.</p><div></div>
