baisao
Robin, waterfall photos are as cliche as a fireworks show, for which we all say Ooooo and Ahhhhh! Great job on your photo. :-)

stric
Robin, I love your waterfall shot. What was the exposure time on it? I know that Velvia can be very tricky with exposures longer than 4 seconds.

Robin Smith
Thanks, Jim. We all take these shots - we know it - we can't resist them.
Robin Smith
baisao
Robin, I was a whitewater kayaker for 16 years so there's no getting around it for me-- I am drawn to falls and rapids. I've taken an embarassing number of photos of waterfalls, of course nothing as fine as what you have shared here. :-)
Robin Smith
Emir:

Sorry I missed your question. Not sure of the exposure. But probably around 15 sec. f16 + polarizer(?) Thanks! By the way everyone, very interesting mix of shots this week!
Robin Smith

mukul_dube
How does one choose between two halves of a couple? This chap, Kuriakose Mamkoottam, and I became M.A. class-mates 42 years ago. He retired as a dean from one university and promptly got a contract job, also as dean of a faculty, with another.

mukul_dube
And this is Kuria's wife Valsala, whom I first met in 1978 some months before their wedding. Their daughter was born the next year and now lives in Washington, DC, where she runs around buying film for me.

Both pictures were taken with a 90mm Elmarit on an M6 at 1/15 sec. I couldn't have managed them without the Staticfix that Robert Hooper sent me.
