Help! I cannot upgrade the firmware on NIKON D800E

<p>What am I doing wrong? Nikon D800E does not give an option of upgrade for the firmware under the menu. WHat could it be? I have downloaded the file and copy it into my compact flash card. Then putting it into my camera, and going to menu to upgrade the firmware, it doesnt give me the option of firmware update.??</p>

<p>ok i have done it now. i was trying to upgrade w d800 rather than d800e. thank you Shun.</p>

<p>Please never attempt to load D800 firmware onto the D800E. You paid an extra $300 for the D800E. If you upgrade it with D800 firmware, you will be turning your D800E to a D800 and lose that $300 advantage in the process. :-)</p>
