shots worth sharing Posted April 17, 2012 Share Posted April 17, 2012 <p>I have to admit to some concern about the sparse protection in girls lacrosse, Michael, but the rules are much more civilized than the boys game--and strictly enforced. Still, there have been a couple of head-clunking & face-scraping incidents this season. <br> The boys wear a lot more protective gear these days than we did when I played: all we had then was a helmet (with face guard) and a pair of padded gloves but that was back in the in the "wooden sticks/iron men" era. </p> Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
