Spearhead
Pi Bar is great. I'd go there regularly if I liked beer and thought pizza was good for me. Unfortunately, neither do. My wife is friends with the owner, he has a place in the Castro (Eureka) and one in Glen Park (Chenery Park) that are both excellent with full bars.
Music and Portraits Blog: Life in Portugal

Andrew Gosden
The flowers are finally coming out here with temperatures getting in the 70s. I'm still figuring out how to use extension tubes with the lenses I have.

XSi with Tamron 70-300 vc and 68mm of extension tubes @ 92mm, f/5.6, 1/80s, iso 800

larry h.
I've really got to edit my files the day before so I'm not so late posting them.

This is a Diamorpha plant. It only grows on granite outcrops like this one on Arabia Mountain near Atlanta. (Arabia Mtn is similar to Stone Mountain in case you've been there -- it's just a whole lot more pristine.) In a couple weeks, I hope to post a shot with the bloomed flower.

This was taken handheld at about 0.4x life size with a 7D and 100mm L IS Macro. Ain't technology great? 1/80s, f/11, ISO 400. IS, Autoexposure Bracketing & AI Servo Focus on. Next time I'll do it properly with a tripod. ;-)
