anthea50 Posted April 22, 2012 Share Posted April 22, 2012 <p>Some great shots this week! This week I took the opportunity to go down to our local beach at Shorncliffe. The pier there is 140 years old and was closed recently, after being declared unsafe. Although they put concrete pylons in some years ago, sadly, it looks like they may keep it closed for some time while they deliberate on the cost of repair or (gasp!) replacement. There is currently a Save Our Pier campaign going on, and it has become a hot topic in the local governement election champaign.
