So, if you can't hear it, the battery is either dead, the camera is broken or you indeed have a hearing problem. gordon_yee Posted January 30, 2012 Share Posted January 30, 2012 <p>I'm not aware of any other way to check the battery on the AE-1P. The piezo beeper is located very close to the battery test button. Try putting your ear right up against the PC terminal when pressing the test button.
