Good morning fellow Netters. Yesterday my wife harvested her greenhouse of peppers that she was so proud of. It was hardly Hatch, NM but it was a good showing for the UK.
This gave me the chance to try out the new PC lens I've craved for so long ;0

Good Morning Wednesday :)

Last Saturday went to wildlife refugee park (again) with friend. BIF is difficult as well as I need longer lens for sure.

Was out Sun. night shooting down by the water and watched this guy fishing. He lost one of his shoes and had to work hard to fish it out of the water. This was his best catch for the evening. Nikon D3, Nikon 80-400, 300mm, F/9, 1/320 SS, ISO 800

00ZWB3-409593584.jpg.9353b1871eec6303df9b78b0badfb832.jpg

Clive, wonderful pepper and cutlery shot. We don't get nearly enough still-life contributions IMHO.

John, finally a "woolly water" shot that I actually like!

Here's my professional at work. Taken a few months ago now on a visit to a preserved steam railway. D700 + Tokina AT-X 28-70. The low sun's shining on my monitor, so this might look a bit lighter than optimal.

00ZWBK-409597584.JPG.022c7b6741af9ccb0e8ee45efe5c7289.JPG

Hi All,

Matt - that must have been quite an experience!
Bill B. - another really nice bird shot
Jeannean - you must move a whole lot faster than I do!
Benjamin S - I love it
Clive W -really nice idea
Ray RG - I really like your subject placement

My shot is one of the first I took after getting my D90, but sans lens. I put my old 55/3.5 micro on and wandered around the yard.
B/W conversion and Topaz Detail and Topaz B/W platinum filters.

00ZWBY-409601584.jpg.3cdb40de1f49c2625315b941f9cf53ad.jpg

This is a view of the new pro shop recently opened by bowling professionals Aleta Sill and Michelle Mullen.

Available light (those curly flourescent bulbs that replace tungsten ones), five exposures combined with the "fusion" process in Photomatix.

00ZWBb-409603584.jpg.b332295b6f58ccab4608a216b376544f.jpg

Hello everybody,
lots of interesting/beautiful shots to admire...
Elliots Soccer-picture and Jeanneans Bird are my personal favorites so far.
My contribution this week is one of the many small fishing-boats over here:

00ZWBe-409605684.jpg.64186ece06088aa5b4217b352b200e69.jpg
