jerry_curtis
ExifTool had been working fine for me until I did an update. Now, when I drag a photo to the Exif icon, it opens and closes in less than a second. I knew I should have taken that speed reading course. Any ideas?
leighb
Does the icon possibly point to the previous version of the program (which no longer exists)?

- Leigh
Richard Williams
I Just downloaded and tried the current version, 8.68. under Windows. I unzipped the file, "exiftool(-k).exe", put it on my desktop, and dragged an image to its icon. Everything worked as expected and the window remained open until I hit a key with the window selected. It worked the same way when I created a shortcut to the current .exe and dragged an image to that. Is this what you're doing?
ShunCheung
I would say uninstall it completely and reinstall.
