mark_pierlot
Great shots, Mark. I encountered an even more dilapidated farmhouse while in Nova Scotia some years ago that was leaning way over to one side. Such structures certainly make interesting photographic subjects.

The FD 28/2 appears to work very well with your G1. I have a copy of the lens, but tend to use either my 24/2 or one of my 35/2's instead. You've inspired me to take my 28/2 off the shelf.
Lou_Meluso
It must have been a fine home in it's day. Nice job with the FD 28/2 on a G1.
mark_stephan2
Love the 28, it makes a great normal lens with m4/3 and it's very very sharp too. The old farm house is a neighbors and he claims it's over 100 years old. It's part of his dairy farm and often times you'll see cows grazing around the house.

gbhill
Nice shot. I bought an old breech lock 28/2.8 ssc really cheap I shoot on my Canon's. Wasn't aware Canon made an f2. I wonder how the two compare.
mark_stephan2
Greg, from what I remember when I had the f/2.8 and f/2 at the same time the f/2 lens was sharper wide open and at f/2.8. From f/4 onward I couldn't see a difference. Both lenses tested on my G-1 with the f/2.8 being sold on eBay.
gbhill
Nice to know Mark. I mainly use the 28 for shooting landscapes & shoot it between f4 & f11 so for now I'll have to be content. Wish I had the funds to collect all the old FD lenses. Right now I'm looking for a 35mm in FD mount. Little at a time. :)
