richardsperry
Tim, Fortunately you are literate and employed. College educated. Some people aren't. And need to a place to work. WalMart happens to be one of those places.

Tim_Lookingbill
Some Walmarts are better than others. I'm basing my opinions on those here in Texas, the land of the under employed. A lot of the employees are from questionable backgrounds and "states of minds" that some may not acclimate very well on a personal basis. Special pecking orders and ego's develop and it's not a healthy place to work from a mental health aspect.

I've experienced this working for quite a few start ups and big chain businesses here such as some pizza chains which I had to work and left for good on reasons described above. And I only have two years of college and I'm living on a small settlement check that puts me a little above the poverty line.

I'm not saying to not get a job to make it through lean times, but there are a lot more other places to work than Walmart. If they're isn't then we're all doomed!
