LineMartel Posted December 10, 2011 Share Posted December 10, 2011
I recently started to use "save for web" in photoshop cs5. Although there is an option to keep all metadata, and that information is attached to the file, it does not show up when I upload the photos in pn. Is there something I am not doing or is this normal?
Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
ariel_s1 Posted December 11, 2011 Share Posted December 11, 2011
You need to check first to make sure that the "saved for web" jpeg has metadata. We need to determine whether Photoshop is stripping the metadata, or photo.net's upload service is.
Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Charles_Webster Posted December 12, 2011 Share Posted December 12, 2011
The default for Photshop's "Save for web" command is to strip all the metadata. I believe you can change that setting later versions of PS, but mine is so old that I can't.

<Chas>
Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
LineMartel Posted December 17, 2011 Author Share Posted December 17, 2011
The metadata is still attached to the photo, I can see it in Bridge. It seems, it does not transfer when I upload to pn....
Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
