Hi Guys,
Another week of images in need of more superlatives than I can think off...great stuff!

Been trawling through the past weeks images...very fruitful visit to a favourite Nature Reserve last weekend. Here is the 'thank goodness' I was paying attention shot, the bird appeared put of nowhere from the low ground in front of the tree it is hovering over, then vanished into the tree top.

Beautiful shots, everyone. So inspiring, I really look forward to Wednesdays!
Soldier Hollow Classic Sheepdog Herding Trials was last weekend. Those Border Collies are just amazing to see in action, it's jaw dropping every year. Here was a tender moment between dog and handler.

it seems harder than it should be to find a wide-open space where i can see for miles and miles around me. this happens to be one reliable spot, however, at a quarry outside richmond, va. to make my photographic excursion on this labor day more interesting, i decided to use all MF lenses, and see how they worked out.

00ZIT8-396343584.jpg.5fe4ecd0d263f4efc6fbe7820460b041.jpg

Happy Wednesday all, I hope everyone is well.

Last week I went out for a few days after Hurrican Irene had past to find unique things that held my interest. This flower was one of many obviously beat heavy by the rain and wind, but still looking pretty spry along the creek.
