ShunCheung
To Paul Murphy: Over a decade ago, I used to live in New Jersey. One day, a friend told me that he was stuck in traffic on a local road, which I also used daily during my commute to work. There was a rainstorm and all of a sudden, a big tree fell onto a car that was 3 or 4 cars ahead of him and killed the driver instantly. He was still in shock when he told me the story a few hours later.

So that woman standing on the down tree should be happy that she is still alive. She could have been inside the car at the wrong time.

Incidentally, another friend in New Jersey told me that where I used to live was within the evacuation zone last weekend during Irene's visit.

Uhooru
enjoying these and most particularly Matt's opener, Jana's, Bogdan's Eric A's, Simon's beach and Apocalyptica is fun too. Here's fun having cake at a wedding - D70024-70 w/SB 800 and a diffuser.

pauldmurphy
Shun, you're correct and she had just that attitude. That's why she got up on the tree and was making fun of the whole thing. I think the saddest part was not that the vehicle was destroyed but just before she arrived and I got there to take the photo, there were people taking things out of the car.... Now that's sad.
Oh, and the woman was great about me taking photos, she took my card and said... " just in case I need photos for the insurance..."
I'm from Rhode Island originally and it's the people in Vermont that I'm thinking of. My friends in New Hampshire are okay... Sigh! Thank goodness.
P
