Polaroid Automatic Land Camera Change Lens

<p>I'm going to by a Polaroid Land Camera and it's most likely to be a 250.</p>

<p>BUT<br>

Is it possible to mod it and change the lens to a one that has a faster F-stop? For example the Mamiya 127/3.5.<br>

The big question is if it's possible to modify the viewfinder so I still will be able to focus?<br>

And is it possible to make the new lens work with the auto-exposure?</p>

<p>Anything is possible, but it may be pretty expensive to do. There are a number of people/firms who can definitively answer the question with an estimate of price. Two I can recommend are S.K. Grimes in the UK and Ken Ruth in Calif at Photography on Bald Mountain. They both specialize in adapting and/or modifying lenses for special applications.</p>
