KenPapai
I've only glanced at 3-4 photos so far -- and Jeff's Casey.... well... wow!
This one from hiking Sunday morning out of Samuel P. Taylor state park to the summit of Mt. Barnabe and back down. We hiked up into the 1300' ceiling of the fog layer. Barnabe tops out at 1460'.
EOS 7D, 16-35 @ 28mm, ISO 400, f/7.1

William Kahn
Shot yesterday in Wears Valley, TN in the foothills of the Smokies.
Went to Cades Cove first, but it was an absolute zoo, wall to wall people and vehicles. Not to mention hotter than hell. So much for great landscape shots (we'll try again in November)...

Andrew Gosden
Lots of great shots this week.
Mark Kissel - Nice shot of the lizard. I like the way he (or she) stands out against the brown leaves.
Cicada killers seem to be very fond of my side yard for their burial grounds. I just missed on some pictures of one with a cicada because I was too far away and it was too dark. This one was busy working on a new hole and didn't mind me taking its picture.

<a title="CicadaKillerAug20110003 by Bmore Beachy, on Flickr" href=" src="http://farm7.static.flickr.com/6129/6010061409_9092617e13_z.jpg" alt="CicadaKillerAug20110003" width="640" height="383" />
xsi, 18-55 is at 55mm, 1/160, f/9, on camera flash

I only wish time allowed for commenting on all of them.
Jeff- You have quite the ability to elicit some rather unique expressions...
Lupo-I've quickly learned to only view your images at meal time....
David C-Nice execution of the HDR process...
James Dean- That's an exceptional portrait...
Philip W...Very nicely done, not an easy accomplishment in a busy tourist spot.
My contribution-Trying out the NIK software.
