lizweisiger
Recently I bought the body of the T3. I cannot upload any Raw Files, only JPEGS, and only those some of the time. I have made sure my settings are correct; uploaded the "Camera Solutions" installation CD; have Snow Leopard OS; but CS3. Does anything pop out why I cannot access Raw Files? I know CS3 is old, but I'm comfortable with it. Is it TOO old to use with my new camera system? Please help me. I've been all over the web, and I have a photo shoot coming up in 2 weeks. lornesunley
Can you upload them with the Canon Utility software?
KenPapai
CS3 ACR will not process newer bodys' raw formats.

You could convert the Reb's raw files into the DNG format and your CS3 ACR can then handle them fine. Download free DNG converter from Adobe.
wgpinc
I use a card reader and the Canon utility that came with the camera for my Imac with the Snow Leopard operating system. CS3 is pretty old and probably cannot recognize the camera. With a card reader you could just copy/move the files from a card reader to a file. Lots of ways to do things. Just not the way you are trying to do them. Good luck!
lizweisiger
Thank you all for your comments. I think I'm going to have to get CS5.
KenPapai
You do not HAVE to get CS5 -- as long as you convert your new camera's raw files into the DNG format you can still use CS3.
lizweisiger
I've been trying that, Ken, but it's more complicated than I want - I'll keep on working with it, though. Thanks for keeping in touch with me on this.
