m42 mounts

<p>Can someone please tell me the name under carl ziess sell m42 mounts. e.g. 'ZE' for canon<br>

I've searched for ages and can't find anything. Someone told me they still make them and i've trying to find them ever since without any luck..</p>

<p>Abhishek, as I told you in <a href="../canon-fd-camera-forum/00Yju4">your thread yesterday</a>, it's Zeiss <em><strong>ZS</strong></em>, presumably S = Screw Mount. I don't see them listed on <a href="http://lenses.zeiss.com/photo/en_DE/home.html">their site</a> so not sure about future availability. If you want them new I wouldn't wait too long. They appear to still be <a href="http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/search?Ntt=zeiss%20zs&N=0&InitialSearch=yes">listed at B&H</a>.</p>

<p>There is no question that Zeiss lenses have been among the best ever made. In the M42 mount, though, a wealth of fine and inexpensive used lenses can be had.</p>
