dropped my lens!

<p>bad morning.... in a hurry to change lenses. Put my 35mm 1.4L quickly on a table with the filter attached with it facing down and forgot the filter is not flat. It rolled off onto the concrete floor a metre and half below. Ouch!</p>

<p>No visible marks. Focuses and shoots fine it seems.</p>

<p>Never again! (never say never)</p>

<p>Sounds like you had some good luck in your bad luck. I would check your images carefully, edge to edge, corner to corner, just to make sure there are no elements misaligned.</p>

<p>Check for flare. If there is excessive flare, the lens is finished.</p>
