seven
I noticed a few days back that my subscription is due 17 November 2002. This is entered in My Workspace ÒSubscriber Services.Ó I am a little surprised that services@photo.net do not send out a robot-generated reminder a few weeks in advance as a courtesy : what happens in the case of members not logging in for a while? Email alerts, emails in the case of their using the vanity address, etc. Not to mention that some people might simply forget and so the site loses much-needed revenue. Just a thought. (In my case a cheque was posted on Sunday - please let me know if it fails to arrive in time as I shall need to change my email address.)
mottershead
At the moment, the only thing that happens when your subscription ends is that you lose your patron icon, and you can't add any new alerts. Your forwarding address and old alerts still work. You might find that you are now over quota on photos and that
mstrada
Mine runs out soon as well, and I was wondering if I was going to receive a reminder. I'd bet the site loses a lot of money because it doesn't nudge people to renew. I know I've seen patron icons fall off of people's names, and I'd guess that for many of them, it's probably out of laziness, not dissatisfaction. A couple strategic reminders would probably do wonders for renewal rates.
daniel flather
Mine ran out Nov 11 and I re-joined on Nov 12 by sending $25 to PN with paypal. Would be nice if PN would email me saying they got it.
