richterjw
I have always wanted one of those Oly's. And I do miss seeing old men playing bocce ball in the park, from my days abroad. Good work. JR

craigd
Nice shooting. The building reflection is very cool. In the ping-pong shot, just for a moment, I thought the white lamp globe to the left of the tree was the ping-pong ball flying up at your camera! The rather surly-looking hidden face in your color shot is cute.

I have an OM-2N also, and I really enjoy shooting with it.
rgeorge911
Bob,

Wonderful work! I know that spot in Bryant Park well, even though I'm not a NYC resident. In fact, I'm boarding a bus to head to the city from DC tomorrow morning, and had planned to visit the park this weekend. I hope my shots are as illustrative as yours...

Thanks for sharing!

Regards,
Reed

ridinhome
Very nice Bob. Especially appreciate them since I've tried shooting in Bryant Park many times and never managed to capture the spirit of it quite as nicely as you have.

Pics of the gear?

rick_drawbridge
Excellent, Bob. Those Zuikos take some beating for sheer acutance. Hard to pick a favourite, but the ping-pong and the building reflections are exceptional. Great post; many thanks.
sw12dz
Excellent shots! Thanks for sharing. I own several OM series cameras and I enjoy using them all. I just had an OM-1 MD overhauled by John Hermanson and I can't wait to start using it.

gnashings
I always hate to admit that every time I look through an OM viewfinder I marvel at the almost cinematic experience it provides, even compared to my New F1 or a EOS1v or any of the top end cameras of the time. The capture of the bocce player is outstanding, and all the images are remarkably well composed and show off the abilities of the glass to a good advantage.
