In Old Georgetown I was waiting for the doors to open to a runway fashion show. While waiting, I could see the planes winding their way down the Potomac River for a landing at National Airport. Clouds from rainstorm, setting sun peeking through and planes made for a captured moment. They say the best camera and lens is the one in your hand.
In this case it was the Nikon D300s with the 70-200mm at 200mm and f4 with ISO 800.

Thanks for the comments on last weeks photo!

Hi All,
Lovely work again.

Some of my favorites:
Bill B.
Tom H.
Jana H.
Javier G.
Nicolai C.
Ilkka N.
Jeannean B.
Robert D.
Elliot B.
Doug S.

Mine is inside the Indy Museum of Art. Color balance was used to put color on the walls. I screened the escalator from the WB change. It was a VERY boring shot without the WB change.

D90 50mm/1.8

00YMNn-338245584.jpg.782e00ae75ea320c554dc41dd3e72cd3.jpg

We visited the Nasher Sculpture Center in Dallas last week for an exhibit of Alexander Calder. We loved the Calder mobiles but we especially loved the outdoor sculpture garden on this beautiful spring day.

All great photos so far, I will look forward to later updates today.
Hopefully this week's entry will be my last winter photo until next winter comes along. Spring is just around the corner here in Kentucky although we do still have some chilly temps.
I lost the exif data, not sure how but it was shot with my Nikon D90 and processed using Topaz and Photoshop CS5.

jamie burris - It looks like the only problem might be that you need to resize your photo to no larger than 700 pixels on either side. Do that and make sure you put a title on your photo and it should work great.
Your photo by the way is very good, love the way you caught it mid air.
