cabbiinc
3D?

The next thing will be the next camera that Canon produces. Whatch your camera stores and you'll see it there.
PuppyDigs
EOS 5D III of course. Due in the next year or two... Sometimes the light’s all shining on me. Other times I can barely see. - Robert Hunter
ryan_kelly3
Looks like the 5D MK II replacement should be announced either this spring ( at the earliest) or this fall (a the very latest). I usually check out canonrumors.com to see the latest speculations.
KenPapai
Well, most likely (Ryan). The 5D was 'merely' a FF version of the 20D/30D.

The 5D3 will be the 7D in FF, and maybe close to 30MP? I would be happy to see the MP 'race' end and more tech put into sensor DR and NR.
john_macpherson
Oh yes and its certainly going to have a fixed pellicle mirror so that you can use the viewfinder and AF when shooting HD video, so you wont need a loupe and manual focus. Canon have a good track record of pellicle mirror use. :-)

KenPapai
Now this:

http://www.eoshd.com/content/570-Reasons-to-look-forward-to-the-Canon-5D-Mark-3
SNIP:
"Improved AF
The 5D Mark 3 will feature the new Canon AF system first seen on the 7D with several key improvements. This is great for photo journalists and those interested in stills, since you can capture spontaneous real life moments even with a fast lens, where manual focussing would require a focus assist and slow shot set-up. There will also be an increase in the live-view focus speed and possibly full-time AF in video mode, although this feature is still limited by Canon's older lens AF technology relative to Panasonic."
