chiny_t
Hello
Is it possible that the next canon body to be announced will be EOS 3D instead of EOS 5D mk3.
Just a thought, cheer.

nathangardner
whichever it is, no one should purchase a camera until it is released, because it will most certainly make every camera up to this point obsolete.
KenPapai
For sure.... nearly anything's possible:
7D2 or a 5D3 or a 3D... Perhaps a 90% chance one of those three happens later this year.
Check back in Oct. to remonstrate me.

nathangardner
You may not want to buy that Dan, I hear the Mark 10 will be due out shortly after and will be a MAJOR upgrade.
philip_wilson
I want a single digit even number I am sick of odd numbers like 1, 3, 5, 7. The only even numbers we get are 10, 20, 30, 40, 50, 60, 350, 400, 450, 500, 550, 620, 630 etc... Why do they not produce high end even numbered cameras - I want the EOS 2D
bob_king2
5D3. I think Canon will maintain the 5Dx line. On the other hand I've given up trying to follow Nikon's model numbering logic. By the way, the entry level 600D should be out soon...

Cheers, Bob

damian_tinsley
Although I love the idea of a 3D, it's really hard to see where this would sit in the line-up of a 5D3 without stealing a lot of thunder from the 1 series cameras. So my bet would be on a 5D3. PS Enjoyable speculation though meaningless in any real context given how capable is the 5D series.
