pbalko
Cool story, but I especially like the ending. You can't beat photography, baptisms and whiskey.

rossb
Great story and a great guy for going to the trouble to return those pictures. Reminded me of a patient I had at the Hospital last year. She said in Japan you do not have to lock your bike. People will just leave it alone and it will be there when you return to it.
jack_fisher1
In the "old days" when I shot a lot more of film than I do now, the commercial processor lost a roll of film that contained wedding pictures. It was recovered several months later after having been processed and sent to another customer. Always, after that, I avoided such a risk by taking a picture of my address/phone label on the first frame of every roll. The same procedure could be used with digital camera cards - to identify ownership by making sure some kind of photo identification (address/phone number) is on each card. Being more careful stowing cards could help - and I am sure others have good ideas. But the cards are small. :)
JacK
