My last street walk with the K-7

Hi folks..Last week I sold my K-7, but before that I took it for a final trek. I still have my K20D's and decided that when the K-5 hits the 800-900 range, I will likely pick one up to use with my primes. But for now, here is my tribute to the K-7...All where shot with the 24mm Sigma I got from Dave.....I would also like to encourage others to post their K-7 images as well....:) Click on images to view a larger size with more detail.

The couples with the guy in t-shirt and sandals, and the woman in the bombardier hat, pants, long sleeves and (though I prefer the slang term of the boots, it is highly inappropriate on the forums) the high heeled boots.

That has to be classic LA and as good a juxtaposition as I've ever seen!

@Haig, That was the last shot. LOL...Having said that, you would be surprised at how many ladies do go all the way with the shirt lifting.

@Justin, Thank you. To be honest I did not notice the sandal's, but I did notice the way she was dressed. In fact, my thought was...Lady, this is L.A. not NY!

@Matt. Thank you kindly for the kind words. :)

@Steven, Like Justin said. I do love the K20D. My real only gripe with the K-7 was the high iso performance of which it appears the K-5 has took care of that and some.

@Robin. Thank you for the kind and encouraging words. There are times when I feel good and get decent shots, but most of the time I get nothing. But I keep shooting. ;-)

@Dave, Thank you kindly. :)

@Steven, Steven, Yes, I am still shooting Jpegs. I think I always will be. I do flirt with the occasional RAW file, but it ends up looking no better than a Jpeg. As of late, since I bought me lightroom 3.3, I have started to tweak in their as I find it very easy and fast. These where all done in there and realize I have over cooked a few them and over sharpened some. Funny thing is that I more comfortable in CS5 and feel I get better results, but lightroom is plain faster. As far as in camera settings go, if you download the images all that info is in the exif. I leave it on for future reference.
Thanks javier

LOL Haig I was thinking the same thing

Justin, I thought that too when I caught the Sandals. I am pretty up on slang terms and since we are both from NY I would think I should know that one but I am at a loss.....PM me the Inappropriate terms for those boots...

Javier,

First shot...Guy in the back looks like Peter Lorre
Love the Beatles Vibe I get from the Broadway shots with the people in the crosswalk
Woman in Second shot has a Katherine Zeta Jones thing going on... A little

You know, the Only thing that has ever made me want to go to Kalifornia is your pictures....or should I say the nice Hips your street girls have in your pictures

Keep Snapping
