buying a printer

<p>I have a Canon i960 and have been very happy with it. The black ink isn't working despite my trying everything I can think of to fix this. I would like to buy another photo printer that can print 8 X 10 photos. For larger photos I'd use a lab. I'd like this printer to scan as well (no fax is needed). The one I have uses 6 ink cartridges. I'd like at least the same or more, if possible. Does anyone have a recommendation? I'd appreciate your help.<br>

<p>I would check the Canon Website and maybe update to the next model in the series. These all-in-one printers are a dime a dozen these days. You can pick one up at Office Depot for $100 or less.</p>

<p>There is a good reason Epson printers are rated so well by photographers....</p>

<p>I'm comparing the Epson Artisan 725 and the Canon Pixma 6120. Does anyone have an opinion? Also, I tried comparing the cost of ink cartridges for each printer and found that it's almost impossible to do this.<br>
