dinora_de_rivera
Are there any photographers who shoot with large-format cameras whose websites, portfolios, galleries, images and books, including the members of this forum, can be found online?

leicaglow
Yes, but I dont have work online at this time. I mostly shoot with Hasselblad and some Crown Graphic. About 80%/20% medium to large format. I havent done any projects in about a year though. Wny questions, or just looking for samples?
andrew_gardiner
I'd be interested too Michael if you've got experience, how difficult is it? (I mean with a 4x5, not the Hasselblad). I'm assuming you would have to shoot out of an open door and presumably the longer shutter speeds are a problem? Burtynsky obviously does it and I have wondered about the practicalities.
drew bedo
Large format aerial cameras were made in the past. All were rigid. Most were roll film. They come up on ebay gfrom time to time.

Today, I would think that something from Fotoman or one of thge MF pnoramic outfits would do the job.

When the Wanderlust TravelWide comes out it would also be a possability.

w_t1
you wouldn't have long shutter speeds with aerial photography
your shutter speed has to be fast enough to make the ground crisp for say the plane flying at 90mph at 3,000ft elevation or what not. I recall that in my surveying photogrammetry text from college years ago (civil engineering)

I think the planes that are set up for that have a window/opening out the bottom of the plane, you'd be laying prone to shoot. or helicopter. Most of my aerial photog these days is from city parking garages.
