Wayne, I'm glad I'm not the only idiot regarding things HTML. I know from

comments that one has the option of submitting them as "plain text" or

"html" - as I type this I have "the above text is : Plain Text" showing below

the answer box. This means that <B>bold</B> will appear as it does here -

plain and with the HTML tags. I ought to get just bold (in bold face) were I to

select html. So select HTML and the tags ought to disappear, and your link will

be hot.

I just "solved" the problem by cutting the comment (including the link) from the viewing requests field and pasting it to the "techbical details" field and now it seems to work. Perhaps it was wrapping at a bad joint or something in the custom field?<br><br>

MODERATOR: Feel free to delete this query as my problem seems to be solved by the workaround, although I still don't know why it didn't work previously.<br><br>

7: Thanks for your attempt at help. Actually the custom fields do have choice of text or HTML?.<br><br>

Cheers, Wayne

He he.... The bumbling saga continues<br>

Now of course, I want to delete the custom field I created for this purpose. I see the choice to deactivate it, but would like it to go away completely. I can't. Not a big deal, but it just sems like unnecessary clutter. Oh well.....
