silverdae
Hello everyone! We have two canvas backgrounds that are in need of some care.

The first has a wrinkle in it that looks like way lines, going vertically through the middle of the canvas. The canvas is hung on a roller system, and is up and down frequently. We were wondering if we could possibly steam it from the back, or if it would hurt the canvas. If not, does anyone have any other suggestions? The wrinkle hasn't pulled out after leaving it hanging down, and we have checked that it is rolling up properly (no folds, not misaligned, etc).

The second canvas is larger (probably 12x20) and has scratches on it, especially on the floor. It is a dark gray portrait background, with varying tone. The paint isn't completely scratched off, just discolored where it gets the most wear. Is there any type of treatment you can apply, like a varnish or a sealer that would breath some life into the worn areas?

Thanks for any suggestions!

Jen
