peter_doucette
The Whelen Modifieds were running some hot laps at Lime Rock Park last weekend. This was taken with the D40 and Sigma 70-200 with a polarizer on a tripod. I remembered to bring the tools to get the job done this time.

joseph_gewickey
Got out to Zion National Park in Springdale, Utah this weekend- a chance to escape the 110 degree heat here in the US. Enjoyed around 60 degrees in the canyon, which is where this week's image was taken. This was the early part of a 14 mile long hike called the Narrows, which is a river hike upstream (and downstream on the way back, obviously). Absolutely stunning place!

Taken with my Nikon D3000 on a tripod, at ISO 100, using my 18-55mm Nikkor lens with a polarizer; f/16 at 1/20th. HDR processed in Photomatix.

hamish_gray
Mark, thanks!
As of now, 10 minutes over midnight, we have 15 degrees C. And that's hot for us considering that only two weeks ago we were enduring hail and sleet :-)

jos__arnaud
Dear Fellow Nikonians,
Excellent pictures as usual ! It is a bit late, but here is my pic, taken in a recent trip to Japan. The Old Imperial town of Nara was once upon a time a magnificent town, but still preserves one of the most impressive Budist temples of Japan, the Todai-ji, that houses a 16m high bronze statue of Buda.
