andrew_bell
I have just purchased a superb Zeiss Ikon Super Ikonta 531 and I am trying to date it. It has a 75mm Zenar lens and is 6x9 format. It was sold as a camera made in 1948 but I think this would only be correct if it was 6x4.5 format. I would be very pleased to have any information and to hear from other Zeiss Ikon collectors.
gannet___
Some links of interest:<p><a href='http://www.netcontax.com/default.asp'>http://www.netcontax.com/default.asp</a><p><a href='http://www.pacificrimcamera.com/pp/zeiss/ikonta/ikonta.htm'>http://www.pacificrimcamera.com/pp/zeiss/ikonta/ikonta.htm</a><p>Somewhere out there is a site that actually has a model-by-model listing, with pics, but I can't seem to locate the link at the moment.<p>There's a moderatly active Yahoo group here:<p><a href='http://groups.yahoo.com/group/ZICG/'>http://groups.yahoo.com/group/ZICG/</a><p>Hope this helps. :) BTW, the 'Help and Feedback' forum is for help and feedback regarding the photo.net site, not cameras. You'll get a better response in future in the General forum.
