sowmya.photography
Hi all,
I am just in the process of integrating my photography website and blog together. I have about 4 to 5 specialisations (architecture, portraits, etc). Each specialisation has about 30 images. Is that too much to be putting up on my website? Or is it fine?
Personally I see myself yawning at other's website when there is an endless set of pictures to see. So am wondering is there any threshold point where people get bored and close the window!
Sowmya
Matt Laur
Why not the best of both worlds? Slide-show (or otherwise) the few that best showcase each discipline, and give them a link into a gallery of more along those lines if they wish to see more. Encourage them to look, but don't force them to.
calixto_garcia
I try to keep it max 20-24 images per gallery ( like a physical portfolio ). It's good as it forces you to show just your best... leave the hungry for more... ;)
