RCap
I recently received a Meopta Flexaret VI. The shutter seems a little off, from lack of use. I managed to mess up on loading the 120 film. However, was able to capture a couple images. Taken with Fuji Neopan 400, developed in HC-110 Dilution B @5.25 minutes. I have another roll in it now and am hoping for some better results.

The Flexaret VI.

The local First Aid Squad.

Garden Center getting ready for Spring.

Uncle Goose
The Flexaret is a great camera but the lens is prone to flare, I would try to score a hood (be sure to buy one for the VI, VII or Standard, the others won't fit). Metax shutters are good but most have troubles because of long storage without use. A good CLA could do wonders. If necessary you could contact Cupog on the Ebay, he does CLA's for Flexarets. The VI and VII's are complicated camera's and only a expert repairman can work on them, I would never attempt it myself. The Lenses are top notch, as good as any tessar lens of that time.
RCap
Gene, so that's what that is called.
Uncle Goose, I will keep an eye out for a hood. If I have a CLA done I will contact Cupog, it may be less expensive to just purchase one from him that has already had the CLA done.
jacekdrozdowski
I have old model, Belar lens is really good. Flexaret is light and handy. You can easy to adjust the sharpness with help of the magnifying glass, but you must have the eye very close to magnifier. Before the use cam. it is worthwhile several times to shoot with shutter.(my is jamming at the beginning of using).
patrick_mont
Nice! I like Meopta. Too bad they don't still make film cameras.
subbarayan_prasanna
I like your pictures; they are sharp and have good tonal quality. The glow may be due to the film and not particularly the lens. It does not seem to be occurring in the same part of the frame. Please post more. I knew some old timers who cherished the Meoptas. Regards, sp.

RCap
Thanks all for the responses. SP the glow may also be due to spent fixer. I have another roll in the Meopta and will use a fresh batch of fixer when developing.
