savas_kyprianides
Is a 5 degree spot meter useful any longer in this digital age? I rediscovered my Minolta Auto Meter IVf with a greater understanding compared to when I got it years ago. So far I am enjoying taking incident readings and seeing how it helps my exposures. Would searching for its spot meter accessory be a waste of time? Today's camera have spot meters in them.
leicaglow
Savas, Even during the film age, I didn't find a 5 degree attachment very useful. It's just a bit too wide to really pin down an area for exposure reading, IMO. A 1 degree is very useful.
savas_kyprianides
Thanks. I'll pass on continuing searching for one of those hard-to-find 5 degree units. I saw one that was selling for 20 dollars less than it's original $95.00 selling price. Meanwhile, I will continue learning with what I have. Much appreciated.
