How many still use film?

<p>I am equally amazed at many people's poor reading comprehension. How many new film SLRs are being cranked out? For comparison, Nikon & Canon sold 2.5M 35mm SLRs in 1999, this year what? Zero? </p>

<p>But no, not zero. Nikon is still selling the F6.</p>

<p>I still shoot film 50% of the time, Tri-X, with three EOS 3 film bodies because I love film B&W, and for no other reason...I love to process my film too and master it in PhotoShop via my Nikon 35mm scanner...yea!</p><div></div>

<p>Just as a note about the F6: I believe it is in reality a discontinued camera in all but official status only. It is a member of the D2 family, which ceased production close to three years ago. It is being sold as new, of course, and certainly for a high price, but all of that is from stock. </p>
