JDMvW Posted January 5, 2010 Share Posted January 5, 2010 <p>A very good daily link into such things is the "Astronomy Picture of the Day" site from NASA (<a href="http://antwrp.gsfc.nasa.gov/apod/astropix.html">link</a> ). Of special interest is the <a href="http://antwrp.gsfc.nasa.gov/apod/archivepix.html">Archive</a> . There you will find the Witch Head Nebula (e.g., <a href="http://antwrp.gsfc.nasa.gov/apod/ap091229.html">Dec 29</a> ) and many others in abundance.</p> <p>I use a random selection of these (if you click on the image, you get a larger image) as my desktop picture.</p> Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
