JDMvW
No, not a homicide; but the profound and the shallow together at last. All's well for the holiday season. (link ).

gist of it

Annie Leibovitz is back to work and shooting Brit Brit’s new Candie’s for Kohl’s clothing ad campaign. Sweet!

And you thought the bankruptcy was a degrading experience ;)

azlatic
I was just in the employee lounge nuking my lunch when I saw an eye-catching black and white of Britney adorning the cover of Elle. Being bored, I flipped through the spread. One of the pictures that caught my eye was of Britney with one or both of her small children standing by the giant pool in her yard. In the background (which was pretty empty, so it stood out), was one of those small, pedal-driven cars for kids, poised to drive right into the pool that had no barrier or safety features. As a parent of a four-year-old, I just cringed at the possibilities.

Funny the things you notice, eh?

Photographer was Carter-somebody. Didn't recognize the name. He needs an assistant to look out for things like that, especially given that particular client's history of making questionable safety decisions regarding her children.
wogears
You are calling Brittney Spears profound? That's going a little far, don't you think?
darryl_baird1
Does anyone else think that as Annie gets older, she resembles Avedon more and more... in appearance I mean?
User_4136860
I see what you meanDarryl ,there is an uncanny resemblance, this is really weird, I think , Annie's former partner Susan Sontag if she was still alive might not be amused by the suggestion though, since she was married to Richard Avedon !.

Britney and Candie's in Kohl's ads. Hope Annie makes a ton of money for this and gets clear of bankruptcy.

mrraz
I bet annie's not getting anything but a day rate that covers her overhead. Kohl's isn't known for paying big money for photography no matter who is the subject or photographer.

Gary, no wonder I hate the holidays.
leicaglow
Not sure who's making all the money, but the Photoshop artist has got to be in the running. Those are not the size thighs I saw on TMZ not long ago.

JDMvW
Much later: Annie shoots Tiger, much to her profit (link ). Apparently some bare-chested shots of Tiger Woods have helped Annie's bank balance.
