rick_drawbridge
Great, John! I used this camera and lens combo for 20 years for this kind of portrait, and never found anything to better it...tack-sharp, with beautiful bokeh, a great and versatile commercial lens. Lovely colour, a model with heaps of character, nice work all round. Enjoy your RB; once you master the slightly clunky operation you'll find it a great creative tool.
User_4136860
You just don't get this tonality, and photo-technical quality from 35mm or digital, it just shows what can be done with the right tools for the job.
jack_fisher1
Ditto what the others already said. These are good. I like #3 the best. ...something about the expression. Now you have urged me to get the RB out and use it a bit more. Thanks.

Jack
Lou_Meluso
Good work, John! I like the liveliness of #2 but #3 is very cute. Delightful bokeh with that 180mm!
golden
thank you guys for the nice comments. for the moment i have the flash flip thingy where the flash sets above the camera so the lighting is kind of flat but not too bad, this weekend im going to try some off camera lighting shots and see how those work out. thanks again for the encouraging words.
ralf_j.
What a nice series of portraits, really like # but the others are great too, great John. Gotta love KEH. They have always come through for me, and I am glad to see that the same goes for you as well.
chuck_foreman1
Very Nice work.. I think they're all good.. Julia hoepfully agrees.. at least enough to forgive you for selling it in the first place?!? Just Kidding! I admire that you realized this was what you wanted and you went and did it! Super!!
