cole_paquette
http://graflex.org/articles/auto-focus.html

I'm assuming you read the link already, so my question is: has anyone ever seen/used on of these? Im assuming they existed, and I am quite the fan of Graflex equipment, and was wondering about user experiences before I try to find one and the focusing back.

thanks.
dave_s
This is very nearly the rarest of the Graphics, and you will be lucky to find one. I believe the only one less common is the later version where autofocus is driven by a USM motor, which Graflex licensed from Canon. Good luck in your search-- tell us how you make out.
thirteenthumbs
Notice the post date on the article? 4-1 is April 1st and it is common here in the U.S. to pull piratical jokes on this day. The Auto-focus Graphic is such a joke.
gene_aker2
I do own and sometimes use one of the early models, The "A" model. Or maybe the Model "T," I'll check. It only came in black. it required a Sears Die Hard auto battery in a small shopping cart. I always carried jumper cables. Man, the old days were great!
john_liberty
I have a couple of these if anyone is interested. The AF is blazing fast, but I've had some issues w/ the lens torque twisting the camera sideways. Graflex made some rubber mounts for the lens to help on this issue, but they're getting hard to find.
cole_paquette
Is there a noticeable difference in, say, weight, size, etc compared to a more common model?
this thing sounds like quite the camera.
dave_s
The battery pack adds several ounces in comparison with a regular Speed Graphic, but as they say, there is no free lunch.
