F4s -- where can i find a cap for the remote terminal port?

<p>i recently bought (from ebay) a nikon f4s. it was sold without the plastic cap for the MB-21B's "remote terminal" port. where can i buy this simple cap? i have not yet tried local (NYC) camera stores, such as Adorama or B&H, but if they do not carry it then i will need to post here anyway.</p><div></div>

<p>Why bother? These caps are not necessary for proper functioning of the camera and in practice soon are lost anyway.</p>

<p>Whenever I get a new camera, I just remove the cap and throw it away. Never had any issue.</p>

<p>The caps on my F4 and F5 have been missing for many years. They are probably living it up with some of my unmatched socks somewhere. Did I say missing? Well I don't really miss them, at all. If you are really concerned about dirtying the contacts you could cover them with Gaffer tape or something similar.</p>

<p>Now, that tape trick would really make the contacts dirty :). Just forget about any cap, that's the best advice I can provide.</p>

<p>That is why I suggested Gaffer tape which leaves little or no residue. I wonder if those little "spot" Bandaids would work as well?</p>
