where to rent a Leica in Las Vegas

<p>Hi, I am a non-Leica user and would like to try one for my self.<br>

I would appreciate any advice regarding where to rent a Laica M8.2, with a Summilux 35 (and maybe a speed light -please suggest-) in Las Vegas or Henderson, Nevada.<br>

Also, does anybody has an idea of the average rate for a couple of months?<br>

Finally, any suggestion regarding renting detail?</p>

<p>Months? Renting an expensive camera costs hundreds of dollars per week. You'd be better off buying a used one then reselling it if you don't end up wanting to keep it.</p>

If you want to rent this or any other expensive camera, expect to pay for it... and don't think long term. In that case, it's better to buy and sell later.

However, some rental places (not in NV) may offer a Leica M8 for rent. Try googling "lens rental" or "photographic equipment rental" to find out.

Be aware that places like Adorama will rent to professional photographers only. <p>Just for the heck of it... check out Lens Rentals <a href="http://www.lensrentals.com/>HERE</a>, based in TN... You get to use the M9 for some $400/week. Worth it? You decide... And good luck!!

<p>Just to give you an idea of rental costs, Photovillage (in New York) rents the combination for more than $2000 per month. As has been stated, you're better off buying the body and lens and then selling it after you're done.</p>
