The latest one from canon is SD1200 SI with 10 MP. Did the SD300 have more features than the SD1200?<br> The SD300 is still seling for $600.00 ; while the new SD1200 goes for only $179.00. It's been out of production for probably 4 of those years, and if you see one for sale somewhere it's probably price-inflated old stock meant for suckers shopping on Amazon.</p> <p>He should go to a store and look at the range of current cameras, and choose what he likes best.</p> Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
