photos by kiem
Well, having owned the D200 and stuck at the 800 ISO in the last 3 years, I've finally burned my wallet; I've purchased a D700 from Adorama that came with the kit, it finally came today. My first impression after few test shots - wow!
The main piece from the kit is the generic battery grip made from China - Adorama called it Flashpoint, but it's branded under name Meike. I dont know if I should keep this or maybe ebay it, but I'm planning to purchase a camera L-plate from Kirk or RRS - and dont know if it's gonna snug fit or if it's strong enough to hold it up. Any suggestion?

acbeddoe
I would normally be very leery of this sort of accessory, yet it is being sold at B&H and Adorama sells the MeiKe.
ArthurRichardson
Kiem,

Why spend the lot on a D700 and risk your camera and warranty over a USD100 rebate on accessories?
