Film Back 120 and 220

<p>I'm trying to figure out what film backs I have for my Mamiya 545 Pro TL. I think I have a 120 and a 220 back, I have both 120 and 220 film inserts.<br>

I've opened them up and everything but the only thing I can find is the number on the bottom.</p>

<p>1. OL 1459<br>

2. SB1398</p>

<p>I don't know if this helps. I read that you don't want to mix the inserts up in the wrong backs.</p>

<p>The Mamiya 645 backs are the same. <br>

Only the inserts are different. The backs will take either insert.</p>

<p>I think the numbers you see are the serial numbers.</p>

<p>645 Inserts are usually marked as 120 or 220 on the part that you grip to insert the holder in to the back.</p>

<p>OK...I'm really dumb. I have 120 and 220 inserts but I thought there was a specific back for each.</p>

<p>The price difference I was seeing was the back with the insert as a combo and of course the 220 insert cost more.</p>

<p>New to medium format so I really have lots to learn.</p>
