In reality, I achieved my dream, I just never realized they'd be made of marble and bronze
-Museum Photographer

She's an experienced fighter.

Weigh-in was 24 hours before the event. A lot of the fighters are stressed because they haven't been able to eat all day, or they got sent outside to run for an hour in a sweat suit to lose a few pounds and get to their proper fighting weight. Also, most of these fighters weren't used to being photographed and it took a fair amount of work just to get them into position. I suspect that what you see is discomfort with the situation, not concern about the fight.
Music and Portraits Blog: Life in Portugal
Christal1664882414
I'm evolving into a photographer. I have a very stressful musical concert career where I'm constantly held to a high standard. Photography is an escape from that world. With photography I can just enjoy the world.....indeed FEEL the world around me and enjoy it without regard to whether someone will judge the way I see or feel it (this site notwithstanding). I'm learning to really SEE things as opposed to just looking at them. There's a wonderful world out there, and I'm on a quest to see and photograph as much of it as I can.

bob_gilbert
I am a photographer because... it's a long story... :)
In the childhood my parents walked with me and often took the camera, they photographed at any time of the year, in the spring, summer, winter and autumn.
Sometimes i had a feeleing it would be good to be engaged in it myself.
Some years ago I had a confidence that time has come, I got a camera and... a good shots have started to turn out!
I read the theory, but... that's all is not so important. It's like something inside me suddenly suggests it's time to press the shutter here and now.
When I was engaged in a macro, absolutely new and different world has opened, many things have started to look in another way, especially, small animals, insects, its texture so complicated, all of them are unique, for instance: http://www.euphotic.org/?t=insect
Absolutely another subject, but not less surprising are people, caught in unexpected situations...
In general, the photography is the whole world, as they say, "beauty is in the eyes of the beholder".

ron831
Since I had to retire from very stressful jobs, photography allows me to relax, enjoy and experience sights that I have over-looked in the past. I see things so differently now, with or without my camera in my hands. Photography has inspired me to take better care of my health so I can "shoot" for many years to come..
