hugh_j.
It was initially interesting but quickly went downhill once it morphed into a Leica M9 sales pitch a few minutes into Part One. Didn't bother with Parts Two or Three.
michael s.
Just took a look at "Part 1," which is a 15 minute video.

Somewhere near the 9 minute mark, virtually all the commentary turns to the claimed advantages and attractions of the rangefinder camera, and Leica in particular.

For me that became tedious, not because I have anything against rangefinders or Leicas, but because I found the commentary both redundant and largely a digression from the subject at hand.

[Had I seen Hugh's post before I watched, I might have taken a pass.]
muaythai
Yeah, it is a bit repetitive/Leica lovefest, but worth watching all the way through.
Mute the speakers and treat it as a slideshow - the docu follows some good photographers.

philipward
Despite the Leica promo there are worse ways to spend 45 minutes.
ds_si_
I have to say that's a great documentary. Rangefinders are the best tools for street shooting, I can say this without doubt. They are small, quite and rough. Lenses are very sharp too. You just cannot deny this. Cartier-Bresson, Doisneau, Winogrand, also Gilden - they all use(d) Leica.
