rear curtain sync canon eos40d

<p>I am trying to do some photos in a low light setting and really want to use a rear curtain sync, however I have no idea how to do this. I know enough about my camera (canon EOS 40D) to put it in a slow shutter speed but I have no idea how to manipulate the flash. Does anyone here know how to do this?</p>

<p>You go to the Menu and select the yellow icon sixth from the right (the middle of three "Set Up Menu") and Press "<SET>"<br>

You will then see "Flash Control", you scroll to "Flash Control" and Press "<SET>"<br>

Then in that menu you will see "Shutter Sync" open that and select "2nd Curtain" <br>

You will find more details on pp 103/104 of your user's manual<br>
